How It Works

Preparation

I arrive early to create an inviting portrait station that blends seamlessly into your celebration. I bring everything I need - all I require is a table and 2 chairs.

Photograph

Guests come by the table to have their photograph taken for painting, then return to enjoying the celebration while their portrait is being brought to life. I generally work with an assistant to keep the entire experience seamless.

Paint

Portraits are painted live in watercolour and ink, with finished paintings displayed while drying as a way to further dazzle your reception.

What’s Included

Comparison chart of wedding photography packages. The Essential Package includes 30 portraits, up to 4 hours of live painting, and customized watercolor paper. The Premium Package includes 50 portraits, up to 6 hours of live painting, and customized watercolor paper.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • On average, I can paint about 10 guests per hour, depending on outfit detail, guest flow, and how guests choose to be grouped.

  • Each portrait is hand-painted in real time, so it may not be possible to capture every guest during larger events.

    I offer post-event studio finishing packages where I complete and deliver the remaining artworks to you to distribute after your event. This makes for a beautiful addition to post-wedding thank you cards!

  • Each artwork is created with ink and watercolour paints on high quality, 300 GSM custom watercolour paper (with your choice of a straight or deckled edge) in a style that balances elegance, likeness, and simplicity. Portraits are approximately 5 x 7 inches and packaged in a protective sleeve for safe transport.

  • Yes! Travel within Toronto, North York, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, and Vaughan is included. For other locations, custom travel quotes are provided.
